History of Violence

Just watched History of Violence. It's based on a graphic novel, too. Not a great graphic novel, but a good graphic novel. Frankly, i don't see what all the hype was about for this movie. It was nothing special. It was a bit gory for my taste (that's David Cronenberg for you), and I certainly didn't need to see Viggo Mortensen eating out his wife, but beyond that, I just didn't "get" the movie. And I "got" the graphic novel just fine. I'm glad I got the film from Netflix instead of paying the big bucks to see it.
